SESSION 2: Sundays 9 am - 11 am. October 2nd - October 30th
A five-week inline skating program for women with the goal of having fun, exercising and learning effective skating, and by default, ski technique in a supportive and collaborative environment. Women will learn exercises and progressions specifically geared to improve their alpine skiing while also challenging themselves and having fun on skates! The skills required for skating are extremely similar and applicable to alpine skiing. This program, led by certified Skate IA instructors and PSIA certified ski instructors is geared toward improving ones skating ability to become a better skier. Drills and skills will be coached to improve skate techniques that have direct application to snow. This Skate to Ski program is supported by Rollerblade and endorsed by their Skate to Ski program and ambassadors.
Skates, helmets, and knee & elbow pads are recommended. If you do not have your own skates, skates can be provided but you must email email@example.com with your foot size. Pads and helmets can also be provided with notice.
